Elk Grove Stingrays Swim Team
The Stingrays Swim Team is designed for swimmers ages 5-18 looking to develop their stroke mechanics, build confidence, and learn good sportsmanship. Team members must be able to swim at least 25 yards of each stroke (1 length of the pool) without stopping. The Stingrays will compete in the Northern Illinois Swim Conference against other local Park District teams. Participation in Swim Meet Competitions is encouraged but not required.
In order to register your swimmer for the Summer 2024 Season, new swimmers please contact Coach Anthony at aguarino@elkgroveparks.org to set up a time to meet with him. Your swimmer will be timed in each of the four basic strokes to then be placed in the correct skill level.
Join the Stingrays Head Coach for a pre-season meeting on June 4th at 6 pm. Coach Anthony will provide information about upcoming meets, practice schedules, and answer any questions you have. Location: Garden Terrace
Registration begins for Residents on Monday, May 6th and NonResidents on Thursday, May 9th.
